The shadows on the surface of the lotus pond and of carp swimming in the water reflect the boundary between reality and unreality. The photograph, taken in Kamakura, was printed on very thin Japanese Ganpi paper and fixed on thick Japanese paper / wood board, with silver leaf / gold leaf.
